My husband and I went the first day Circuit City started their liquidation sale. It wasn't that much of a discount and we were very disappointed. However, as their March end date looms nearby, they are starting to slash the prices even more.
WARNING: If a retailer decides to liquidate, chances are, they will probably increase their usual prices - thereby, not really giving you a discount. I highly suggest that you do research online for regular prices (and also product reviews) before you purchase. This way, you will know if you get better bang for your buck.
The deeper discounts are now at 40% on certain items while TVs are now at 20% (the prices I saw a few weeks ago ranged from $750-more than $3k for a flat screen 1080 dpi). I will probably go sometime this week to see if there's anything worth looking at.
